The Hawt Spot Salon and Boutique and its generous owner, Amanda McGee Bertelson, is hosting a fundraiser and adoption event to benefit the pets of the City Of Taylor, Texas Animal Shelter.

We will be accepting donations of dog & cat food, cat litter, toys, etc. for the shelter pets, as well as monetary donations. The shelter is over capacity, so we will also have a few of the shelter’s best pups (and maybe some kitties!) on site for you to meet.

This is your opportunity to get great deals on piercings, lash enhancement tattoos, and discounts on their boutique items!

Please come see us this Saturday, September 24th, from 11am to 2pm.

Thanks to the amazing Chelsea Croissant Photography, we are excited to announce a photo session to benefit Texas Critter Crusaders! It’ll be held at Murphy Park in Taylor on October 7-9 between 8 am and 7 pm. This year’s Spay-ghetti dinner is October 22. Tickets are available from $30 for adults and $15 for children under 12. The tickets include a meal, dance and raffle tickets. You can also get a to-go meal for $15, or just an event pass for $20 which also includes a raffle ticket. The meals are catered by Thrall Country Diner.

Great fun, great food and great company aside, it’s for a great cause. Come check it out, have a blast and help out some pups!
